SmokeStoppa smoke control fabric is an E Glass fibre base fabric coated both sides with a micronised aluminium filled polymer.
Smokestoppa is a medium weight weave fibre glass fabric. The coating is a specially formulated micronized aluminium filled polymer which provides a heat reflecting surface as well as other properties for the manufacturing of smoke curtain barrier assemblies.
SmokeStoppa smoke control fabric is fire retardant, halogen free, offers dimensional stability and improved resistance to hydrolysis and abrasion over other polyurethane coatings.
Suitable for smoke and limited flame/fire applications, where temperatures only reach <600° C and high strength and the likelihood of flexing is not required.
SmokeStoppa is 2 metres coated nominal width. The coated surface covers 2 metres width although the total width of the fabric can be 2.06m.
The base fabric of SmokeStoppa is a 4 shaft satin weave.
Fire Fabrics Direct can offer bespoke manufacturing with our product range of fire and smoke fabrics. We have been asked to make large static smoke or fire barriers for loft spaces that require two widths of fabric being stitched together or a number of small products such as soldering mats and other plumbing supplies.
